참으로 오랫만에 한 여행길. 집에서 출발해 San Diego - Grand Canyon - Glen Canyon - Lake Powell을 거쳐 집까지 오는 거리는 약 1500마일. 이 거리를 1박 3일로 다녔다. 무언가 찍어 보겠다고 나선 이번 여행은 나에게 많은 이야기 거리를 만들게 했다.

It's been awhile since the last trip... from home to San Diego to Grand Canyon to Glen Canyon to Lake Powell then finally home.. It took roughly 1500 miles altogether in three days. I did not expect much but this trip had given me a lot of inspiration and stories to tell.

우리의 출사용 SUV (난 Mini Van 같던데)...... 게스를 적게 먹는다고 좋아 했는데 결국은 그 게스도 주지 않아 어두운 밤에 사막에서 거의 섰었다.

This SUV (I thought it was a minivan) has good gas mileage so we were relutant and almost run out of gas in the middle of the darkest desert. Does AAA cover the desert too?

이번 여행을 같이 한 친구 Mike Kim. 촌스럽게 Grand Canyon을 처음 가봤다고 하네.

처음 시작 아니 출발 할때는 암담했다. GPS에 나오는 걸리는 시간만 9시간 어떻게 갈까? 아니 갈 수 있을까? 라는 생각을 해봤지만 시간이 지날 수록 목적지에 다다를 수록 나의 마음에 왠지 모르는 뿌듯함이 생겼다.

"Can we make it?" GPS indicated it would be at least 9 hour trip without stops. We went through many CDs that we did not listen to for a long time and

이제 어딜 가지. 다음은 죽음의 계곡이야! 가는거야!
